Collapsing Broad Sword - Two Color - Locking Pommel

A broad sword version of a collapsing sword. The pommel can be removed to make it easy to replace broken blades or change the colors of the sword. The pommel rotates about 15 degrees clockwise to lock it in place. The small teeth on the pommel receptacle of the hilt are as far as it rotates.

The pommel has a very snug fit on purpose. As you finish rotating the pommel to lock it in place you will feel a slight pop as it locks. No need to over tighten past that point. Repeated removal will loosen it a little bit over time but it will still lock solid with a slight pop after many removals.

It is recommended that you print the hilt and pommel with a 0.1mm layer height to capture the resolution of the locking geometry. I know that creates a long print time but the result will be worth it. It's very satisfying to feel how nicely the pommel locks into place. I can not guarantee functionality if printed at a larger/lower resolution.
