It has been scaled up 2,500 times than the original model
have also been sealed several holes in the handle and erased the letters.
Was printed in two parts to make the plaster mold.
The mold was made smoothly, using this other thing:
http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1490718
After dry , I separated the mold and have melt the PLA model.
Then firmly attached parts and melt aluminum is poured inside.
The result has you can see in pictures, has been a big "fail", I am almost certain that the problem has been the bleed orifice definitely was poorly designed.
I'm printing another knife, and will try again with a different position of the knife in the mold.
Why I post this if is one Fail?
Well, I think not always get everything right the first time. Then I found interesting also publish it. I am convinced with this method is posible to get something acceptable , without having to burn the mold for many hours (if one piece)
PLEASE! do not use this or any other mine cont
