Comma3X Mount STEP Files

The original C3X mount file on the github repo is an stl, which isnt fun to use in modeling programs. In Fusion this is even more of a pain, so I converted it into a more versatile step file. There are two variants in here: C3X Device Mount - This is best used as a mount for the C3X itself. I've printed this mount alone multiple times and the unit fits right off the print bed. I've also used it to combine with custom mesh to make offset mounts and such for my comma. Below I merged the step file with another mount to create the mounting arms: C3X Windshield Mount Cutout Template - I use this as a cutting tool to allow my custom mounts to fit onto the original windshield mount. This mount increases fit tolerance by a large amount to ensure a decent fit. It definitely could be tightened up, but its the best I have so far.Hopefully these help facilitate more custom designs and mounts in the future!Category: Vehicles
