Commel Character Socket Design

My design uses the same amount of material as the current design and will also allow the use of the current internal components - with a small modification. The design has character - quite literally, as it based on an old fashioned deep sea diver with the electrical cables mimicking the air supply hose when plugged in. The colour coded 'face' is a permanent press fit, but the colour coded 'goggles' are designed to be used as a removable ID tag to identify which electrical cable is which. This avoids the risk of unplugging the wrong device and having to reset it for example. The design can easily and cheaply be updated with a redesigned 'face' component, such as an astronaut for example - thus extending the product range and life cycle.
