This is someway a rework of a previous thing I published (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2945783), but only the carriage and not the other parts.
It was modeled using Freecad but that didn't give me the opportunity to change parameters so I made this one using Openscad, so it can be used on printers with different X rods interaxis.
The carriage is good for printers with horizontal axis layout like on my modified Geeetech printer.

The extruder setup is just a 45mm throat with heating block, using as heatsink a few washers. It works very well, and it is very compact, allowing more printable area on the X axis. It can be just as wide as the bearings, allowing me to get 20mm extra in print width on my printer.
The top side of the throat is jointed to an M6 tube fitting using just an M6 nut.
The case for the extruder mount a 40mmx40mm cooling fan.

I mainly redesigned this carriage because I need to implement some attachements and I want to make them modular and as compact as po
