This is a compact LA03-2500 2500mW laser mount designed to be compatible with Elzariant's x-carriage system.

The laser can be screwed into the mount using up to seven M3 8mm screws (optimal) or M3 10mm screws (may require a washer). I designed in vented holes into the mount to decrease material issue, decrease ABS warping, and assist with cooling of the part. The mount itself can then be slid onto the mounting rail. Since the part is not loaded heavily and a little sliding would not affect laser engraving quality, the mount does not have to be screwed down to the mother plate.
The mount comes in two variants, vented back and closed back. The closed back version is there so you can print the part more cleanly.
