Compact Universal Spool Adapter - AMS Lite

This was a fun exercise to figure out how small I could make a spool adapter for the AMS Lite, while still making it usable for a wide variety of spool sizes. The AMS Lite normally doesn't work well with filament spools that have large inner diameters. The rotary spool holder doesn't get a good grip on them (even though the holder has "claws"). The spool could simply fall off the AMS Lite while you are printing. This adapter makes larger spools work great with the AMS Lite. InstructionsAttach the adapter to your spool by inserting the central cylinder into the center of the spool, and screwing the end cap nut onto the cylinder from the other side of the spool. As you decide which side of the spool to insert your adapter into, pay attention to Bambu Lab's recommendations for orientation and spool loading.Slide the spool, with the adapter, onto one of the rotary spool holders for your AMS Lite, taking care to line up the spool claws with the slots on the adapter.Profi
