I just started my Engineering Drafting class and did not want to have my compass stabbing into my pencil pouch, or having the threads bent in my backpack. So I sketched up a clip-on cover and printed it. Being a thin part it is quick (25 mins) and easy to print, with plenty of clearance for all printers.
