Compass Night Light

Found this cool Plastimo 105 OffShore compass at a yard sale for $20 and brought it home to see what I could do with it. Created this base and printed it in clear PLA, then scratched the paint off the round nubs, lined it with a cheap 5v LED strip and superglued a little section of that strip (3 LED's worth) into the hood/cover. Hopefully this inspires you make an ordinary object extraordinary with your creativity.
