E6000 cables are no longer available. curly cords are obsolete technology. over extension immediately ruins them and the specific type of plasticized pvc sheathed cable needed to make them is hard to come by or very expensive. Modern manufacturing and automation makes extensive use of cable chains. The E6000 was released to market just before patents expired on cable chains. Cable chains were very expensive at the time but now are cheap and dominate the market.
