Compensated Banjo Bridge

I was frustrated that the center G string would always be a little sharp when fretting a note, even if it was in perfect tune. But before I invested in a fancy (and expensive) compensated bridge I thought I would make one I could print. And if it solved the intonation problem on the center G string, I would know it would be a good investment. As it turns out, this bridge is not that bad. It is about twice the weight of a wooden bridge, so the tone is a little darker and the volume is a little less. But I have performed with one of these and it did OK. I went through 7 or 8 prototypes to develop this version. I have included two models in this profile. One has 100% infill and will be the stronger of the two. The second one has heavy walls and 0% infill, which takes about 6 grams off the weight. I have created a video to show you how to easily change your banjo bridge.
