Two rockets for launching off 15mm Copper pipe.
Printed these in PET and PLA and both worked well. Use some fine sandpaper to clean the inside of the rocket to ensure a smooth sliding fit on the pipe. Flew about 10m high with 1.0 bar of pressure.
Printed these with 0.1mm step height as at 0.2mm the layer bonding was too weak.
Spiral finned rocket spins quickly and is very stable. Sprial fins also help to strengthen the rocket against splitting between layers.
