Computer Desk Organizer

The purpose of this product is to be a desk organizer. This type of desk organizer is intended to help people that have computer monitors on their desk, but not much room for other things. By having a raised mount for your computer monitor, you can easily fit papers/folders underneath the monitor rather than having them loose on the desk. Also added an inclined pencil holder on the side to keep pens/pencils in a stationary position that are easy to access.

Some issues that came with designing this, is the structural support. While I did want to make sure the product could support a whole computer monitor, I needed to keep the bottom area clear since papers/folders were going there.

If I could redesign this product, I would want to make a coffee coaster. I would want to integrate it into this design since my target audience are people that have computers/laptops on their desk. If they are going to be having a drink, it is essential that water does not get everywhere on the desk.
