Conker Clamp

I was perusing the world wide web as you do and came across an image of one of these Conker Clamps made out of wood, up to this point I'd never seen a conker clamp to hold conkers whilst drilling and thought how useful it would of been when I was a kid messing around with conkers, I believe that conker fights are not allowed in the school play ground any more due to Health and Safety etc which is understandable as they could cause a bruise or 2 with a trained swing.This clamp can be useful in holding any cylindrical or round object with a view to drilling it, and could even prove useful as a nut cracker with it's enclosed back to capture the nut shrapnel etc, sadly I don't have any conkers or nut's to hand so I can't test it but I'm sure it would work fine in any of the instances.Great Little Fun Project.Thanks for Looking.
