The Unitymedia ConnectBox is equipped with some pretty bright status LEDs.
In don't have any other possibility than placing it in my bedroom and couldn't sleep because of it lighting the whole room.
This design can be clipped over the front LED to block it's light and also clipped around the RJ45 LEDs at the bag to block the light there.
