This device is actually being used on 4 salt water aquariums with fish and corals, and 3 fresh water aquariums with fish and plants.
I designed this fish feeder to have a large food tank, and an accurate quantity dispensing.
You can program up to 6 dispensings per day, easily could be increased but don't overfeed your fish ;) and chose the quantity for each.
You get a notification alert on your phone if the module disconnects (power outage…), or if no food was actually dispensed.
The firmware and Gerber files for the PCB are available here: https://github.com/reivaxy/iotFeeder, but you can probably fit an ESP8266 wemos D1-mini board + stepper driver board instead, but don't power the stepper driver from the ESP 5V pin, you would fry the onboard regulator.
Check the project wiki on github for assembly help, and latests 3 files.
The back was printed using two colors (thanks to PRUSA MMU2s) to show reverse and forward arrows above the respective push buttons.
