I made this sand cast connecting rod bottle opener.
This part is a split pattern for sand casting, it has a minimum of 5 degrees of draft on all surfaces to aid removal from sand molds. It should be printed in duplicate, and assembled with 2.5x6mm pins in the far holes.
I have reduced the gap between the opening blades to 15mm to improve function. the pictured pattern and castings have a 20mm gap, which is too wide and can grip the glass lip of the bottle.
