Continuous rope hook

One of the flaws I see with many rope hooks is that they are variations on carabiners. The problem being that at some point, the hook will start bending open, and the rope moving on the hook will slip away from the weakening point.
The idea of the Continuous Rope Hook is that stresses will tend to pull to the middle, and when twisting does happen (I think it's inevitable) the lever arm does not rapidly shift.
If you chose to test this, and compare it with other hooks, do use the same materials, and slicing profiles as you would for others.
This can be scaled up, or down as needed. Improvements to suggest include champfering edges.
For more strength, this could fairly easily be milled, or stamped out of aluminum at whatever size is convenient. The size provide should be very workable for paracord sized material.
