Convertible Top Hold-down

After scouring the earth to find replacement Hold-down plastic pieces for a 1969 Chevelle Malibu Convertible and coming up empty, I had to make my own. The originals suffered UV rot and typical breakdown (it is an over 50 year old car ya know) and were originally white that had yellowed with time. I made these by finding old pictures, tracing the profile and then rendering them from 2D to 3D. The inner sides have been skewed out to help hook more "meat" of the convertible top frame assembly. I made mine out of black Hatchbox ABS and did a vapor polish for cosmetic purposes.
