I made this bracket to hold an old 120mm fan under the bed of my Ender-5 to cool the bed after printing. It shortens the time for the glass bed to cool and let go of the print. It does not obstruct the leveling knobs at all. The fan is 25mm deep, but still has clearance when the bed is fully lowered.
My fan is silent, but noise and wind are not really issues as it runs after the printing has finished.
I am controlling it through Optoprint, using the "Cooldown Fan" plugin.
Eventually, I will fit a buck converter, but for now it is running of an old 12v plug-pack.
Mounting is with 4mm x 16mm screws and nuts.
I had to nick a tiny piece of plastic off the fan to clear the screw heads.
