Cord Organizer

My design is a simple cord organizer that hangs off of the side of a desk. The top side of this project would rest on the side of your desk, with the bottom side being directly under the top side. For me, I have a power strip that has six outlets, so the intended purpose of the bottom would be to have a power strip with the cords going through the rectangular holes. The cords coming from this power strip have a multitude of options, such as going through either of the holes on the top, or snapping into place with the cord holders also on the top. This project can help students with virtual learning by organizing cord clutter for anyone with a desk and a power strip.




I came up with the issue of accurately measuring how thick a typical cord is. Since I want this design to be universal to anyone who needs their cords organized, I met the problem of correctly sizing the cord holders on top of this project.
