CorningWare 20-oz Mug Protector

I use these ceramic mugs for lunch at work because i don't like heating my food up in plastic containers. But, I've managed to damage a couple of them over time by impacting the mugs in various ways. One completely shattered when I clumsily clanked it into a granite counter. This protects from these kinds of impacts.

Recently I accidentally did about a 2 foot drop test on a concrete floor with this protector. The mug bounced, but amazingly there was no damage! I am sure a little luck was involved, but there is no way it would have survived without this.
