Design ConceptA 3D-printed hemispherical dome designed to transform light into an astronomical experience.The top surface features cut-outs of planetary orbits, planets, and a stylized Milky Way band.When illuminated from below by a smartphone flashlight, the patterns are projected onto the ceiling, turning any room into a cosmic classroom that combines science, technology, engineering, art, and math (STEAM).Print Settings- Recommended Material: better in black matte PLA, PETG even ABS (better if not reflect or be translucent material)- Layer Height: 0.2 mm for balance between detail and speed- Infill: 5–10% (lightweight, allows easy handling)- Perimeters/Walls: 3 for durability around cut-outs-Supports: Automatic Tree Standard, 30% (change the Parametes if you know the limits of your printer)- Print Size: Scalable (suggested diameter ~200 mm for optimal projection)Assembly1 - Place the dome on the base with the open side facing down.2 -Position a smartphone flashlight or small LED puck light in the bottom hole of the base.3 -Darken the room, turn on the light, and watch the projection of planets, orbits, and the Milky Way appear on the ceiling.Optional: Sand or paint the interior surface (matte black) to improve light projection and contrast.
