Cosmic Turtle Feet

This is my design entry for the ''Light Base Custom Feet'' Contest.

The design is inspired by the mytheme ''World Turtle'' where a giant turtle is supporting or containing the world. It includes the counterpart ''World Elephant''.

For modeling I used geometric design for its modern appearance and simplicity. I sketched a rough outline of desired outcome and used these as a base for modeling (see pictures). Three seperate files were created (turtle, elephants, base plate) and then combined into one. The final model has lightweight appearance and is also durable (due to the center beam and four outer suppurts - elephant trunks).

''Cosmic Turtle Feet'' - the modern design complementing the ancient mythology. I think it blends in well with the Light Base cases and adds a littlebit of mystery to it.

I haven't printed the model yet but my slicer program says it would take around 6 and half hours to print. It does not seem to need much
