cotton transfer wheel

This is a 2 part wheel / pulley that takes 20 nails to create a spiked wheel.

Most small board or upholsterers nails should fit. The nail head must fit in a 4mmx4mm space and the shafts must be 1.2mm or thinner.

The wheel consist of the outer ring where the nails are put in. The inner wheel is then inserted into this ring with the slots aligning. The 2 parts must be glued together to form a solid bond.

I am using 4 of these as a pulley to transfer cotton from a bin into a spindle to create tread.
