Our engine mounts had deteriorated because of oil, so to protect them we made these covers. The TPU is extremely tough, and this allows the mounts to work as usual, there's a little gap on the bottom that allows flexion and for any water that is trapped to move down.
Our engine is an OM636.
The covers are easy to lift up to inspect the rubber, but I feel they'll last us a long time!
