coving cornice mitre box

Mitre box designed for cutting cornice. The blade slit is 2mm wide. It has steps for cutting 90, 75 and 55mm cornice.

I made this because I found the cheap ones you can buy are either flimsy, inaccurate, or both, and the good ones are a few hundred dollars - inappropriate for small home jobs.

This print is cheap, accurate, and works perfectly.

It is a decent size print - to save on time and filament, I recommend you use less infill and more perimeters to keep it strong. I used 4 perimeters and 15% infill, and it was just fine. I also strongly recommend you use a bed adhesive like Filaform (that stuff is fantastic) to prevent the base from lifting.
