I liked bwilly's original mount, but couldn't use it as-is, because I already had something mounted to the X-gantry (a nozzle wiper mount) and I didn't want to add anything to my hotend carriage to trigger the timelapse switch.
This incorporates a panel-mount mechanical keyswitch and should work with the stock hotend cover as well as any fairly similarly shaped replacement.
