One of those things you never have and never need... until you really need one, and haven't got one.
I like old computers; doing them up, playing with them, designing and making upgrades. The bane of any 'retro-computer' hobbyist is of course the leaky battery. All old cells disgorge their highly corrosive contents eventually and if not sorted quickly and thoroughly that spells certain doom for the motherboard in your computer. Always replace that old battery whenever you buy any computer that's more than about 5 years old.
A CR2032 will often make a suitable replacement for a battery that's no-longer made (many old computers) but you'll need a suitable holder. This one should do. :-)
