This was designed to compliment and extend what can be learned from the very excellent 3D Benchy. It prints quickly, uses 1.4 meters of filament scraps. Prints on my settings in 24 minutes. Lets you test stringing and minimum layer print times between the spires and column. Bridge testing added in June 2020. The large diameter smooth tube lets you check retractions and random vs aligned seams. Work on blobs and zits. The overhang goes all the way out to 75 degrees. The sample shown is in ABS and was printed without supports. The column is there to keep extrusion pressures from pushing the arch down.
Dimensions:
Large Tube, 3 layers thick (with .4mm nozzle), 8mm high, 50mm OD.
Small Tube. 1 layer thick. 10mm OD. 8mm high.
Small Tall Column: 5mm OD, 4.2mm ID.
Overhang Print Arch: 12mm wide.
Short Spires: 20mm high (vanishes to point)
Tall Spire: 28mm high (vanishes to point)
Bridges: 3mm wide.1.2mm thick. Various lengths.
