***UPDATE 20.05.2017*** Improved version of the camera holder uploaded.
The Crashex was designed as a 270 racing drone with generous space for electronics and fully 3D-printable frame. Since I first came up with it, components have become smaller and the trend moves towards smaller racers. I have started working on a 180 drone, but still keep improving the Crashex frame. He flies well with a set of LDPower 250-2 engines, 15A HW-ESCs, CC3D, 3S batteries (between 1300 and 2200 mAh).
Updated version of the tried and tested Crashex FPV drone (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2064996). Reduced the number of screws for the changing of arms, designed a removable camera holder (for the small Runcam Owl) with adjustable angle, new Crashex is slightly more compact (engine-engine-distance 19.5 cm).
We have tried to print it in PETG, but so far the best material remains PLA, contrary to our expectations. We will keep experimenting, and would be very happy if you print this guy and give us
