the tail is articulated and a rubber band goes in the slot through the loops in it around the loop at the top and through the noches in the tail. the eye bolt goes through the center of the loop on the back and the lure is retrieved with a jiging motion backwards. i used the smallest eye bolts from home depot and two number 4 treble hooks from bass pro. a higher resolution will stop water from getting in to the lure and keep it floating better. i used cura as a slicer and set the pause plugin to pause near the tops of the cavities and added rattles (https://www.amazon.com/Fishing-Glass-Rattles-Insert-Attract/dp/B00NNV51D4) and weights. i used bird shot for the weights to give it a bit of extra rattle. but any weight that will fit in the holes will do. only add weights to the front and back vertical holes not the horizontal one in the middle that's where the rattles go. i put two in and ju
