Cricut Maker Pen Holder

Thought I would share this piece of adapter for the Cricut Maker. I measured all features from the original Pen holder and create a 3D printable version that can be used in case it is lost or broken.

I printed this with the prongs on the bed, this will have less support but I did not have any issues, you can flip it the other way but you will need to add support. When printing with the prongs on the bed, I had issues initially when the design had the same dimensions as the original and the prongs would sometimes move away and not finish correctly, this issue was fixed by adding thicker prongs, first print works and is quite strong.

If you increase the resolution, you will get better results and stronger print. So far 0.2mm works as intended; took around 45 minutes to build @80mm/sec. The picture shows that the arms are thicker, this is so that it won't break when clamping it down in the cricut machine, the original holder is more of a flexible material.
