This is a crocus flower wind spinner for the garden - no supports or extra parts needed! Crocuses are gorgeous hardy early blooming flowers that come in purple, yellow, white, and lavender. Saffron, the most expensive spice in the world, actually comes from a specific variety of crocus. Crocus flowers in bloom The design approach is very clever, all you need is the flower and the pointed stem for a very low friction spinner, no bearing required. Credit to the tulip designs that have been shared on Makerworld (1, 2, & 3) for the pointed stick idea, and now this design adds some variety to the bunch! These work great with all your typical filaments, I used ASA for durability outdoors. Low friction is ideal so it's a good idea to avoid matte filaments. The flower is thin to keep it lightweight, and the print profile has X-Y contour compensation set to 0.15mm which adds a little bit more thickness overall and makes it print well with classic walls.
