This gear fidget uses cross axis helical gears to achieve a mesmerizing effect. The gears mesh together perfectly, despite being on completely different axies. Mounting plates were carefully engineered to snap together perfectly, giving the gears a stable axis to rotate around. I am proud of the snap fit joints in this model; they were carefully prototyped until I felt that the fit and snap were absolutely perfected.
