cross fixation for Thunderbolt flying base

I got myself a second hand old FW Thunderbolt that lack a cross to put the flying base in.
So I have created a fixation system for a classic GW flying base.

-They are 4 holes made to reinforce the fixation with small metal rodes (same diameter as paper clips)
-Considering the weight of the thunderbolt, I do recommand to use those fixations! :)
-The cross itself is a bit narrow, this has been done on purpose, I wanted a lot of friction because of the thunderbolt's weight.

I disguised the fixation as an extra auspex array:
One model has only sensor front and back
the other has as well sensors on the side
