Found in dense forests and agricultural fields, this elusive creature blends seamlessly into its environment, often mistaken for a clump of soil when perched low. Its large, glossy black eyes and stubby wings give it a comical yet endearing appearance. Crowtatos are omnivorous, known for scavenging seeds, insects, and small roots, which they expertly unearth with their beaks. Despite their plump physique, they are surprisingly agile on the ground and have a unique, low-pitched coo that echoes through their habitats at dusk.
