Hello I would like to share with you my quick coupling prototype for the transport of cryogenic fluids, based on taking the concepts proposed by the GrabCAD community in the NASA challenge https://grabcad.com/challenges/low-leakage-cryogenic-disconnects-for-fuel-transfer-and-long-term-storage. This work was carried out for the Chair of Synthesis of Mechanisms and Machines M25 (SMM) by Professor Marcelo Valderrey of the School of Mechanical Engineering, belonging to the Faculty of Exact Sciences, Engineering and Surveying of the National University of Rosario (EIM - FCEIA - UNR). The concept on which I based it was the following https://grabcad.com/library/permanent-magnetic-switch-cryogenic-disconnect-for-space-exploration-1 made by https://grabcad.com/ebube.nwobodo-1 My prototype consists of a system of two valves that, when they come into contact, activate a spring mechanism and then remain fixed by the action of a magnet. I regret the quality of the designs shared, I had problems with my high-performance computer, which forced me to use a low-performance computer. This transition affected the quality of my models and animations. In a very short time I will be resuming work from my high-performance computer, and soon I will be able to upload improved models that will live up to the expected standard. I'm sure the next results will be much better!
