This is our Crystal Cave HabiStack. It has several parts which need to be printed. I recommend .20 layer height for the main piece and the top and I recommend using Adaptive Cubic for your infill to save on filament. The HueForge background should be ready to print as is to fit into the main piece as a background. I try to use colors on the HueForge that will compliment the main colors used for the HabiStack(I usually use 4 colors and basically if you have 28 layers each color gets a 4th, so start with a darker color then change at about layer 7, then change again at about 14 and then at about 21. You will want to play around with your layer change position to get a better looking background.). There is a place on the underside of the top piece to mount either a 3" puck light or you could run an LED light strip as well(we prefer and recommend a puck light). The left side crystal ledge can be printed in anything with the same settings as the main unit and then glue it into place where you want it. Entire unit can be hung on the wall or sat on a shelf and can be stacked with other units. To assemble: After printing all the pieces, first step is to glue your crystal ledge onto the left side(we recommend using gel super glue) of the HabiStack. Now decide if you want to sit the unit on a shelf or hang it on the wall. If you decide to hang it, mount it to the wall using the screw holes in the back(do NOT overtighten). Slide your HueForge background into the slot covering the big hole in the back as well as the screw holes. Next you can glue any extra smaller crystals you printed as well as the center floor crystal into place(Do NOT block the area where the HueForge goes). Mount whatever light you have chosen to the top. Put the top into place and then just place your creatures in their new home.
