Many of these vessels fell into the hands of the Kazon after they overthrew the Trabe in 2346.
The USS Voyager engaged Kazon raiders on several occasions in 2371 and 2372, particularly those belonging to the Kazon-Nistrim. Jal Culluh, First Maje of the Nistrim, initially commanded his sect from a raider.
Several vessels of this type were also present within the Trabe convoy encountered by Voyager in mid-2372.
