The closed version does have a different leaf to the open version. Please ensure you pay attention to the named parts and use the correct leaf for the open or closed version.
The difference is to accommodate the size of the flower.
place the leaf on the stem, Important... the stem has a stopper mid way for the leaf to rest, one side is just a bit longer than the other.
Make sure the leaf is assembled on the longer side
