Subsea 1600 – Original Test Submarine (1621 m)
This small submarine was originally created as a simple experiment during offshore operations to see how common 3D-printing materials behave under deep-sea pressure.
Several models were printed on a Creality Ender-3 S1 Pro and mounted to a subsea tool basket before deployment.
The basket was lowered to a depth of 1621 meters, where the models were later observed by ROV cameras.
Both solid and hollow versions remained intact during the depl
