This is a design tool to help calculating the shape of a piece of metal for a cuff bracelet.
To use this calculator you will require
- a printer and some paper
- a piece of sheet metal
- jeweller's tools
The calculator is loaded into OpenSCAD and the shape is determined from the parameters in the customizer. The image is rendered, exported to PDF and printed. Optionally, the image could be exported to SVG after rendering and loaded into a vector drawing program (like InkScape) for further editing.
The printed image is then cut out and transferred (e.g. glued) to a piece of sheet metal which can then be cut using shears or a jeweller's coping saw before decorating and forming.
