This is a current choke enclosure for one FT240 ferrite core wound with RG58 coax. For great information, see G3TXQ's (SK) http://www.karinya.net/g3txq/chokes/ excellent website regarding ferrite and winding selection.
This particular choke was 11 turns of RG-58 coax on an FT240-43 core from Amidon. When installed inline at the antenna, all my shack RFI problems were solved.
