I love looking for practical applications for 3d printed items. This is my first home brew attempt, feedback is welcome.
This was created to support my curtain rod my which was sagging in the middle from the flimsy metal bracket being weak. The screws into the wall were very secure so designing an entire bracket seemed a waste. I printed in white as blends in with our walls.
No attachment other then gravity and friction. As the hanger sags, it puts pressure on the top bracket enough to hold it in place, while the wedge forces the shape to stay mostly as designed. Tolerances are loose by design to accommodate the screws.
