DesignThis is a custom design that I modeled from scratch to replace or modify the standard ear cushions on the HyperX Cloud 3S Wireless headset. The shape has been changed to be slightly convex, which makes the headphones more streamlined.Purpose*This is not an official product from HP or HyperX. The model is intended for users who want to replace or modify the existing ear cushions on their audio devices, providing a custom design.MODEL FEATURESThe design includes 2 mounting locations for round magnets.Magnet size: D5x1mm (5mm diameter, 1mm thickness).A drop of superglue may be required to secure the magnets.Recommended Settings (as a starting point)Material: I printed with Hyper PLA. PETG or PLA+ are also excellent choices for better flexibility and strength.Layer height: 0.12 mm - 0.16 mm (for maximum smoothness on bends).Strength: 3-4 walls and 25-35% infill (Type: Gyroid) for a strong but lightweight part.*EXPERIMENTS (Critically Important!)I have attached my settings file to this model, but I want to warn you right away:This is not a “golden pill”! My settings may not be suitable for your printer, other types of plastic, or slicer.I have experimented a lot with this model myself (with and without supports, and in different orientations) and, to be honest, I have not yet found the perfect universal solution due to the complex geometry. Therefore, I STRONGLY recommend that you:Start with my settings, but be prepared to change them.Experiment with the ORIENTATION on the table. This greatly affects the surface quality and the need for supports.Test SUPPORTS. Printing “bowl up” requires Tree supports, but gives a clean outer surface. You may be able to print without them at all. Please share your successful settings and photos in the comments! This will be very helpful to others.Good luck with your printing! 👍Printing recommendationsI used Hyeper PLA plastic with good wear resistance for testing. The manufacturer recommends using PETG/Nylon PA12.This is a test sampl
