Tom's model was really educational for me learning OpenSCAD - I learned about `modules` and `hulls`. I remixed his model to make it parametric to create a wide range of different shaped hooks, and added a version for Multiboard inserts. Use the Parametric Model Maker to customise to your needs. The hook has two sections, the "shaft" and the “end cap”. Each section has five editable parameters. The length can be varied. The different cross-sectional shapes are made by changing the size and position of a circle and a rectangle.A convex hull is fitted to the circle and rectangle to define the outline of the cross-section. If you imagine stretching a rubber band around the two shapes, the outline formed would be the convex hull. Play around in the Parametric Model Maker and you'll soon get a feel for the huge variety
