Customizable DIY barbell

This thing creates plastic hardware used to create a barbell bar from 3/4" black pipe (the stuff for natural gas, not electrical conduit, or water), and 1.5" PVC. This will create an 8 lb bar that you can use until you decide you need a real bar (probably somewhere between 100-200lbs).

I created this thing because my 20kg bar was too heavy for my wife, so I built this lighter one until she can use 20kg bar. It could easily be modified into a children's or a curl bar.

It holds 50lbs without any visible bend.
