Customizable Ear Saver

Let’s face it wearing a mask during this time of crises for a long period of time is a pain in the ear. Well at least for me. I 3D printed all sorts of different Ear Savers and had a hard time finding one that fit just right. They come as either a strip with hooks or fancy “S” shapes. What I wanted was one that has 1 hook and the right length for my head.

So, I turned to my trusty OpenScad scripting 3D modeling tool and built one. It looks like the everyday 3D printable Ear Saver but wait there’s more. This version allows you to play with a bunch of parameters to make your perfect fitting little do dad.
Use the Customizer to adjust parameters including the length, width, number of hooks and even the spacing between hooks.

Have fun with it. I did.
