I had a lot of random bits including forstner bits, router bits, step bits, and carbide hole saws in a drawer and I wanted to organize them all on the same gridfinity organizer. All of the shanks of these bits were all different so none of the standard ½" or ¼" organizers were going to work. I made a grid of holes that have sleeves of different diameters that lock into them. In this way I can make different diameter holes but have the freedom to switch them in and out simply by replacing the sleeve. The holes have a 2x2 gridfinity base. The lock mechanism is easy you just insert it and give it a little twist. You are able to customize the hole to fit any bit shank. Just select customize and change it to whatever you want. Once you customize the hole size and download it you will need to split the objects. The insert prints best if you flip it 180 degrees to avoid an overhang. I figured if I have had this problem there are likely others out there.
